Guided Mesocosm Tour

Come get a free guided tour of InnoTech Alberta’s mesocosm facility!

After arriving at the main InnoTech Alberta building, participants will register with reception and meet in the main conference room for a safety briefing and a short overview of the facility and its capabilities. From there, participants will be taken to the mesocosm facility for a guided walking tour. After the tour, participants will return to the main meeting room for informal discussions and refreshments.  Overall, participants should expect to spend 1 to 2 hours on-site.
 
Since at least half of the tour will be outdoors, participants should dress for the weather and the conditions – waterproof jacket and footwear if wet, light clothing and closed-toed shoes if hot and sunny. A hat is advisable under all conditions. Insect repellant spray will be provided. Uneven ground is relatively common, as is mud in wet conditions -  participants with mobility concerns should contact the organizer ahead of time so that special arrangements can be made.

Attendees will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the facility, but carpooling can be arranged. Please contact the conference organizers for more information.
